Computappoint is currently recruiting an IT Helpdesk Administrator for one of our clients.

This is hybrid role paying up to £28,000


Person Specification Required skills:

  • Previous experience of at least 3 years' working in a helpdesk technician (1 st /2 nd line) role or similar
  • Proven experience of diagnosing and resolving basic to complex technical issues
  • Ability to demonstrate practical troubleshooting and problem analysis techniques
  • Good understanding of fundamentals of IT security and how it applies to network and devices
  • Proven interest in IT with experience of software, networking, and hardware
  • Excellent experience and knowledge of Windows 7, 10 and Microsoft Office 36
  • Basic knowledge and experience of Windows Server 2012 and onwards
  • Good knowledge and experience with Apple iPhone IOS
  • Basic knowledge of Virtual environment
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Active Directory, DNS and DHCP
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of antivirus software and be able to manage security alerts
  • Excellent understanding of TCP/IP and other networking protocols
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of patching Windows PCs and servers Experience with IT support systems such as ticketing systems and call center systems.
