Computappoint is currently recruiting an IT Helpdesk Administrator for one of our clients.This is hybrid role paying up to £28,000
Person Specification Required skills:
- Previous experience of at least 3 years' working in a helpdesk technician (1 st /2 nd line) role or similar
- Proven experience of diagnosing and resolving basic to complex technical issues
- Ability to demonstrate practical troubleshooting and problem analysis techniques
- Good understanding of fundamentals of IT security and how it applies to network and devices
- Proven interest in IT with experience of software, networking, and hardware
- Excellent experience and knowledge of Windows 7, 10 and Microsoft Office 36
- Basic knowledge and experience of Windows Server 2012 and onwards
- Good knowledge and experience with Apple iPhone IOS
- Basic knowledge of Virtual environment
- Good knowledge and understanding of Active Directory, DNS and DHCP
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of antivirus software and be able to manage security alerts
- Excellent understanding of TCP/IP and other networking protocols
- Excellent knowledge and experience of patching Windows PCs and servers Experience with IT support systems such as ticketing systems and call center systems.
