Teaching Personnel are seeking full-time Teaching Assistants to work at one of our partner schools in Salisbury.

The school is an OFSTED 'Outstanding' school for learners aged 3-19 with SEND including autism and complex needs. They provide high-quality, person-centred learning through a holistic curriculum that features plenty of indoor and outdoor activities.


What are we looking for?

  • A patient and enthusiastic approach to the role
  • Relevant experience in a related area
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills


As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will understand that every child is different, and be confident adapting to each child's needs and abilities.

The role is full-time, working Monday-Friday during term time with weekends and school holidays off.


Key responsibilities

  • Providing support within the classroom wherever required
  • Delivering activities on a 11 or small group basis
  • Ensuring children are engaged in lessons
  • Adapting to every individual pupil's needs
  • Helping with behaviour management of children
  • Creating displays of children's work

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
