Description

To prepare the meals for the Nursery, have the responsibility for the day-to-day running of the kitchen ensuring compliance with relevant Health & Safety and Food Hygiene requirements.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook meals and snacks following pre-set menus in accordance with Health & Safety Regulations to ensure meals are nutritious, appetising and meet dietary needs.
Carry out regular checks of kitchen equipment.
To maintain Environmental Health/Safe Catering records in line with requirements.
Undertake simple stock control, reporting goods to be ordered to the relevant senior staff to ensure adequate supplies are maintained.
Undertake the cleaning of the kitchen to ensure the kitchen is maintained to a high level.

Food Hygiene & Safety Level 2 will need to be completed before taking up the role.

Salary:
£10.67 per hour

Expected hours:
No less than 25 per week
