Teaching Personnel are delighted to be seeking a qualified and experienced Substitute Teacher to join at a secondary school in Burgess Hill.


It is crucial that the applicant has:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons to secondary school students.
  • Be able to manage student behaviour in the absence of the regular teacher and ensure the health and safety of students.
  • Follow school policies and procedures.
  • Experience teaching or supervising in a secondary school setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
