Summary
CCS | Compass Corporate Services have partnered with one of the UK's leading multi academy trusts.

We are looking for a proven and successful Head of Estates & Facilities to lead and drive Strategic estates planning, capital projects and facilities managementacross 10 academies in London and Hertfordshire.

Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for you to come into an exciting, growing company and really make your mark.

You will not only be at the forefront of the Estates and FM masterplan but you will also act as the Projects Director on all major capital schemes,spearheading and creating strategic estates plans for each individual academy ranging from £5m up to £45m+.

The aim for yourself and the trust is to create high quality, safe and aspirational learning environments. You will identify opportunities to enhance and continuously improve the services for students and staff alike.

Strong PPM & RPM functions are vital tothe success of this and you will have the opportunity manage them in their entirety.

Financially you will have oversight of lifecycle and capital budgets for individual schools and the Trust while also managing delivery timing against the availability of funds.

Outsourced contracts, including cleaning, M&E maintenance and professional consultancyservices will all be lead by yourself with support from your team.

You will be a broad operator with gravitas who is equally as capable of leading teams as reporting information to the board.

Being able to to motivate and promote teamwork is vital as you will have many regional and school based staff to support and inspire.

Essentials
Experience in schools or educational environment
Educated to a degree standard in a relevant discipline or equivalent work based experience
Experience developing strategic estates masterplans
Proven experience in major capital project management
Outstanding line and performance management skills across multiple sites
Desirable
Appropriate postgraduate/MBA
experience working with public finance
Membership of a professional body
