Camden Memory Service
Band 4 Assistant Psychologist x2
Full and Part time


We are seeking two assistant psychologist positions:

  • one working inCamden Memory Service
  • Full time -37.5 hours per week (1.0wte) The Peckwater Centre, NW5 2TX.
- one in IslingtonMemory & Dementia Navigator Service (MDNS)
  • Part time22.5 hours per week (0.6wte) Blenheim Court, 62 Brewery Road, N7 9NY
Both teams sit within Services for Ageing and Mental Health.


You will need to be motivated, organised, creative, have excellent interpersonal skills and a passion / interest in working with older people.


Both teams are multidisciplinary, and you will work under the supervision of a clinical psychologist to provide psychological assessment and treatment to people with dementia.

You will lead on the delivery of Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST).


You will also have the opportunity to provide a manualised CBT based intervention (START) to carers of people with dementia.

This is an exciting opportunity to deliver evidence-based interventions in a clinical setting.

Both memory services are well established with excellent reputations.

You will also be joining a dynamic and creative psychology team whose specialist interests include systemic work with older people, neuropsychology, CST, service user involvement and interventions with carers.

We are a Trauma Informed Organisation and try to embed anti-discriminatory practice into our work. We are keen to recruit more staff from BAME backgrounds.

There will be one round of interviews for both positions.
