Role - Support Engineer

Location - Cheltenham - Hybrid - 1 day a week office based

Salary £25k - £35k

I am looking for enthusiastic individuals who are team-oriented, with the right attitude and passion for IT and who enjoys a fast-paced environment working as a support technician.

Maybe you already have experience offering IT support on internal user systems, and fancy something more product focused offering support to clients directly and getting more technical.

They require an individual to work in the team with the primary role of technical product support and product installations.

What will I be doing ?

You will be working with customers/employees to identify system problems and advising on the solution whilst logging and keeping records
Analysing call logs so you can spot common trends and underlying problems
Updating documentation so customers/employees can try to fix problems themselves
Liaison with customer
Database analysis
Installations
Testing

Technical skills:

Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services
IIS
TFS
C#.NET (ideally)

Required non-technical skills
As well as a strong technical background, the successful applicant will have good communication skills.

This is key in a help-desk environment as it is necessary to explain complex information in simple, clear terms to a non-IT personnel.
