The role

Joining our professional, personable team in the practice, you'll deliver exceptional care by going above and beyond your duties providing an exceptional customer service, putting patients and clients first, always.

Everyone here is focused on our patients and clients, and you will be too as you answer calls and queries, make appointments and take payments, and ensure the practice is safe and well-stocked.

Reception and Administration experience is essential (minimum of 3 years' experience), you'll also receive support and training.

You must share our values being trustworthy, caring and progressive, you'll also take the initiative in customer service and have caring, thoughtful communication skills.

Of course, share our love of animals and be able to deal with patients and clients in sometimes distressing circumstances.

Good written and spoken English, a positive approach to solving problems and the ability to work under pressure as needed are also essential.

Fixed term contract for 12 months

Part time 17.25 hours a week

Wednesday 08:30 - 17:30

Friday 10:00 - 19:00

1:4 Saturdays working at 24 hour Dorchester

Key accountabilities

Essential Attributes:
Presentable, empathetic, able to deal with upset clients. Good telephone skills and manner. Engaging with clients and colleagues. Well spoken English. Computer literate. Organised. Animal lover of course

Skills and experience
Experience working within a Veterinary environment preferable but not essential as training will be given. Good written English. Extroverted and outgoing. Good problem solver. Mediation ability. Sales experience. Able to work under pressure.

Wool is a small town in the Purbecks close to the beautiful Dorset beaches of Weymouth, Studland Bay, Ringstead and more.

You're spoilt for choice with watersports, walking, shopping and not far from the larger towns of Poole, Dorchester and Bournemouth.
