Location - Aston Down, Stroud (GL6 8HR)

Hours of Work - Full Time

Monday to Friday

9:00am - 5.30pm

Temporary Contract - 6 months
Salary - up to £20,400 per year

Secure Data Management specialises in providing offsite storage services to some of the UK's well-known brands.

We operate 5 main warehouses within Gloucestershire, Kent and Central London and have over 30 years' experience delivering a premium storage service to UK businesses.

We work tirelessly to exceed our customers' expectations and have a real drive to keep improving.

Key Responsibilities:

Driving our Company vehicle's (to include our 7.5 tonne at times) within the UK.
Loading the items in the delivery vehicle in an organised way, that aids the efficiency of unloading at and collection from clients.
Delivering/Collecting items that are in a good condition to our clients and using an O'Neil scanner to confirm delivery/collection of the items.
Planning the best routes to clients by taking factors like delivery deadlines, roadblocks, and traffic into consideration.
Interacting with clients in a friendly and professional manner.
Unloading items collected back at our Gloucestershire sites.
Keeping your vehicle organised, safe & clean in line with company standards at all times and informing your management of any issues.
Occasional warehouse duties
Occasional holiday/absence cover for our Night Driver, this is usually a 5:30pm 1:30am shift.

Experience & Attributes needed:

Be a reliable driver with a valid licence and ideally with experience driving a 7.5 tonne vehicle.
Hold a legal Digital Tachograph card in your name.
Experience/knowledge of using a digital tachograph
A Drivers Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC)
Ideally some experience of using a handheld scanner.
Good attention to detail skills to ensure deliveries/collections are completed as per the correct process
Familiar and confident with driving in the United Kingdom.
