Description
Our client is a locally based construction contractor that is involved in projects across the south west.

They are seeking a hard working and reliable Counterbalance forklift operator for the refurb of a popular commercial retail unit in Plymouth.

The job will also invlove some labouring at times,

An example of day to day duties are listed below but may vary as instructed by management.

  • Practising site safety at all times.
  • Operating a Counterbalance Forklift.
  • Feeding materials to trades.
  • Assistance with deliveries.
  • Strategically setting out stored materials.
  • Recording checks of your machine.
  • Reporting any problems management.
  • To take instruction from management and attend briefings.


We are offering £18ph - £20ph depending on payment method, and working hours will be 7pm - 5am with 1 hours break.

You will be paid the full shift each evening even if you are sent home early which may occassionally happen.

You will have the opportunity to make new industry contacts and become exclusive with Setsquare meaning first refusal on future jobs.


  • You must have an in date Counterbalance forklift ticket of some kind. This is essential for the role.
  • You must have your own PPE including hard hat, hi vis and protective footwear.
  • Previous experience is desirable but not essential.
