About the role


We are looking to recruit a dedicated one to one Teaching Assistant, to support an individual child with their social and emotional needs.

The hours are 8.30am - 3.30pm Monday to Friday term time only.

We are looking for someone compassionate and understanding who will support our inclusive ethos by developing strong supportive relationships with our children.


As a Teaching Assistant you will be passionate about teaching and learning and believe in developing the true potential of children.

You will have a calm and positive disposition, the ability to break down activities into small step teaching and will nurture, inspire, challenge and motivate pupils.


Job Requirements


Within this role you will be working in the classroom supporting the learning needs of a child with SEND, you will be carrying out pre planned appropriate activities to ensure they are getting the most out of their education.

You will have positive behaviour management skills, be flexible and able to work on your own initiative.

You will have a clear understanding of the child's needs and how you can best help and support them. You may provide personal care including toileting, changing and feeding, encouraging independence where appropriate.

You will also be willing to support the Christian ethos of our school.
