Creche Practitioner (Keyworker)
Are you enthusiastic, caring and looking for a new and exciting role in childcare?

If so, My Ohana has the perfect opportunity for you.

We are the operators of the IKEA Creches across the UK & Ireland, and we are looking for full-time and Part time Crèche Practitioners in the Edinburgh Store.


Your role as crèche practitioner will include:

  • Engaging children in entertaining and educational play through a variety of activities.
  • Supporting and assisting the Manager in planning and delivering a programme of activities.
  • Communicating with fellow colleagues, clients and parents in a professional manner.
  • Potential to step up as a Key Worker when required.

We are currently recruiting for:

  • Crèche
Practitioner

Hours - 4hrs to 35 hrs hours per week, Monday to Sunday

Salary - £ £11.05 per hour


Skills & Qualifications

  • Have experience working with children aged 3 years to 11 years
  • Hold a minimum SVQ Level 3/SCQF Level
  • Ability to contribute to creative activity planning
  • Ability to communicate with children and parents
  • Work well within a team
  • Ability to step up into a supervisory role when required.
  • Must be a member of SSSC
  • PVG check required
