We are currently looking for a
Clerk of Works to join a high functioning Housing Association in the Birmingham area.

You will be focused on the high rises and residential properties, making sure regulations and quality is in place.
Clerk of Works
Temp Contract - 12 Months
£28 - £30 per hour via umbrella
45p Business Mileage

As a Clerk of Works, you will be:

  • Carry out technical inspections to ensure all work is completed to the required standar
  • Identify potential problems and recommend satisfactory outcomes
  • Keep accurate records on site and intervene with in issues that arise, including: addressing resident complaints, reporting health and safety risks and breaches, reviewing risk assessments, ensuring construction is to the agreed
  • Undertake final inspections and inspections during defects period

As a Clerk of works, you will need:

  • property experience in roles such as site management or site inspection
  • Knowledge of construction, methods, materials, design and risk assessments
  • Experience in working independently and using your initiative
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience in working in social housing
