Grease Monkey Cycles currently has an exciting opportunity to carry out our sales and marketing activities.

We are an Active Travel Infrastructure Company, based in Scotland.

We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and professional sales and marketing manager to join our team and play your part in scaling our business.

Job Purpose
To grow sales, manage and carry out sales and marketing activities, general communications and PR.

The role includes setting up and the ongoing management of systems and other administrative tasks to get us organised and working efficiently long term.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Grow sales
• Attending various industry events in the UK
• Sales and account management activities
• Website maintenance in Wordpress, and brochures in Canva
• Administration of purchase orders, quotes and invoices for our sales jobs
• Management of keys and payments for secure cycle storage rental programmes
• Handling customer enquiries
• PA activities including organising and booking occasional team events and travel along with general office management
• Experience in a similar role
• Ideally degree qualified in business or marketing
• Driven independent worker with a hunger to input own ideas and make a difference
• A confident and expressive individual who can communicate effectively
• Sales experience would be advantageous
• Organised and professional person with strong problem solving capabilities
• Passionate about sustainability
• Sound understanding of sales and marketing sequences and lead generation.

This job is ideal for a confident, organised, extroverted individual who enjoys talking to people, and who can operate independently.

Work will take place at the Grease Monkey office, currently in Livingston, EH54. Some activities may be performed remotelywith advanced notice and agreement.

The position requires a minimum four days per week with a reasonable degree of flexibility within defined business hours.

Salary is £35,000-£40,000pa (FTE) however negotiable depending on experience. Bonus eligible.
