BACKGROUND TO THE POST


WCG delivers Level 3 CIPD at Royal Leamington Spa College within the Professional Studies department, with a proven track record of success for our students.

As part of the quality assurance process WCG needs an internal verifier to work with the team to moderate marked student assignments for the individual units of the course


Essential Attainments:


  • Level 3 within CIPD or equivalent Apprenticeship route within this discipline.
  • GCSE Grade C in English and Maths or equivalent. Applicant willing to achieve within the first 6 months will be considered.
  • Assessor's Award (preferably A1) or equivalent. Applicant willing to achieve within the first 6 months will be considered.
  • Have a working knowledge of Health & Safety in the appropriate vocation.

Desirable Attainments:


  • A UK driving licence free of major endorsements.
  • Administrative skills, including IT skills.
  • Internal Verification Award (preferably V1) or equivalent.
  • Recent extensive industrial experience.

Essential Skills and Knowledge:


  • Good Interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding and knowledge of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults.
  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding and knowledge of Equality and Diversity.
  • Ability to demonstrate behaviours which support the Core Values of the College.
