Bailey Employment Services Ltd is an employment business advertising this role on behalf of our client.

Our client is based in Eggborough and is one of the UK's leading Plant, Equipment and Vehicle Auctioneers. They gather in this equipment in 6 weekly cycles and store it on their 62 acre site. Auctions are held over 3 days every 6 weeks.

We require a number of temporary AUCTION DRIVING OPERATIVES WITH UK CAR LICENCE for the 3 days of the auction, to start work at After signing in, you will be taken by minibus to the equipment that you have been allocated to move to the auction marquee.

You then drive the equipment in single file to the auction marquee, stop at the marquee whilst your lot number is sold, and then move to the sold yard to park it up.

Get back on the minibus and repeat the process finishing at approximately 7pm.

Please Note the following:

PAY RATE IS : MONDAY TO FRIDAY ALL HOURS £ 10.

THIS WORK CONTINUES IN ALL WEATHERS SO ENSURE YOU HAVE SUITABLE WARM AND WATERPROOF CLOTHING.
OPERATORS MUST BE PREPARED TO DRIVE/MOVE WHATEVER EQUIPMENT THEY ARE ALLOCATED
THERE ARE SUPERVISORS THAT CAN GIVE QUICK INSTRUCTIONS FOR STARTING AND MOVING THE EQUIPMENT IF NEEDS BE.
OPERATORS MUST BE ABLE TO UNDERSTAND ENGLISH SPOKEN INSTRUCTIONS AND RESPOND IN ENGLISH IN AN UNDERSTANDABLE FASHION.
OPERATORS MUST SIGN IN AT START OF THE DAY AND SIGN OUT AT END OF THE DAY. IF THIS IS NOT DONE HOURS WILL NOT BE AUTHORISED FOR PAYMENT.
OPERATORS TO WEAR HI VIZ VEST/JACKET AND SAFETY BOOTS ON SITE AT AL TIMES.
A HALF HOUR DINNER BREAK IS NOT PAID EACH DAY.

Applicants must have a valid UK driving licence and be a competent driver. There are hot food and drink vendors on site or take your own.
