Job Summary:
Duties
- Understanding and interpreting customers' technical requirements
- Liaising with customers to clarify requirements
- Design of electrical power and controls systems in compliance with regulations
- Procurement of materials required to build the assembly
- Generating technical documentation as required
- Leading and monitoring workflow in accordance with the agreed production schedule
- Working with colleagues in the manufacturing team
- Overseeing delivery and/or installation if necessary
- Working in accordance with company rules and procedures and quality management system
- A suitable, recognised electrical or controls qualification
- Recent electrical design experience in a similar industry
- Highly selfmotivated and able to work on own initiative
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
- Ability to work well with others
- Good organisational skills, excellent punctuality and timekeeping
- Knowledge or experience of any of the following would be an advantage:
- PLC, HMI systems
- ATEX design/installations
- Machine safety
- Commercial skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience of working to Quality systems ISO 9001
