About Our Client:
Our client is a respected entity within the not-for-profit sector, with a significant presence across the UK. They are a large organisation, known for their commitment to making a positive impact on society. They are based in Wolverhampton, but have operations throughout the country.
The Accounts Payable Assistant will;
- Process, verify, and reconcile invoices and statements.
- Manage the accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Support the wider accounting team with monthend closing.
- Resolve any queries related to invoices and payments.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance department.
- Assist with other accounting tasks as required.
The Successful Applicant:
A successful Accounts Payable Assistant should have:
- An academic background in Accounting or Finance.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience managing the accounts payable process.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
