We are a reputable and growing accountancy firm looking for an Admin and Bookkeeping Assistant to join our team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised and proactive individual to play a key role in the smooth running of our business.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining accurate financial records, including bookkeeping, reconciling bank statements, and preparing invoices and payments.
- Assisting with the preparation of tax returns, financial statements, and other reports.
- Assisting with the preparation of weekly and monthly payroll submissions.
- Conducting basic financial analysis and reporting to the accountancy team.
- Liaising with clients to resolve any queries and ensure accurate recordkeeping.
- Maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an administrative or bookkeeping role within an accountancy firm is preferred.
- AAT qualified individual is preferred, study support for AAT may be given for the right individual.
- Strong organisational and timemanagement skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices, and familiarity with accounting software, preferably Xero.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.

£21,409.00-£26,000.00 per year
