Description
The Admin Lead is an exciting and autonomous role supported by the Clinical Services Manager.

It plays a key role in the provision of an effective, cost-efficient service and provides leadership and management for the Admin Hub supporting the Specialist Services based across Horsham and Haywards Heath.

The Team Lead will be responsible for supporting staff to develop and ensuring that all the relevant services are able to access consistent administrative support


To provide leadership within the Team, managing expectations, keeping performance levels within suitable levels, organising daily / weekly tasks, rota planning and the general wellbeing of the staff.

They will provide training and support to other team administrators, providing a supervisory role and performance management.

To manage, develop and initiate administrative systems and procedures and ensure compliance across team administrators

a)To chair and organise meetings within the office with own team, complete an agenda, manage any appropriate training with regards to IT or implement service specific procedures.

b) The post holder will continually review and update the training sessions for all administrators.

c) Working with resources to manage the demands of the Admin hub.

Admin Hub:

Maintain department clinical and stationary stock,

e) Provide cover as required to receive and deal with all incoming telephone calls effectively, ensuring a prompt, accurate and polite response, acting on own initiative when necessary and appropriate, including dealing the anxious patients and their relatives with tact, patience and discretion.

f) Ensure all work is completed to a satisfactory standard within acceptable
timescales, whilst ensuring quality is promoted including alerting others of
quality issues and where quality improvements required
