Description

The Design Engineer is a permanent position, and we are looking for technicians who have been available for an immediate start.

This position will consist of the testing and development of high voltage power conversion products and associated equipment.


Key duties for the Design Engineer role will include:

  • Accurately document the design to enable full manufacturing packages to be created.
  • Meet agreed timescale for tasks and projects.
  • Ensure designs are cost effective.
  • Ensure products are compliant to all current legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Investigate new design techniques where required.

Skills, knowledge, and experience of the Design Engineer:

  • Knowledge of up-to-date components, technology a d manufacturing technique.
  • Ability to keep accurate records.
  • Understanding of constraints of PCB layout and mechanical packaging.
  • Schematic Capture using CADSTAR desirable.
  • Experience of UC design with respect to analogue control systems would be desirable.

Hours:
Monday to Friday - on-site
