Cleaning Operative


Salary:

Monday to Friday shifts hourly rate £11/hour which is going to increase to £11.70 from the 1st of April.

Saturday and Sunday shifts hourly rate £11.30 which increases to £12/hour from the 1st of April.


Job description:
Train Cleaning at Carlisle Train Station

• Internal cleaning of carriages
• Toilets cleaning
• Mopping
• Clearing up spillages
• To ensure the train is clean and prepared for service
• Responsible for working in accordance with all safe systems of work and C.O.S.H.H regulations.
• To liaise with the Team Leaders to ensure all train preparation and cleaning activities are undertaken as planned and directed
• Responsible for the use of correct chemicals, materials and equipment used in train cleaning activities.

Credentials/Training & Experience required

• NWR Medical and Drugs & Alcohol Screening (we will provide)
• Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential at all as training will be provided
• A positive, professional outlook and a real 'can do' attitude
• You should be able to work alone or within a small team.
• Good work ethics.

Hours of work will be from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

We are looking for cleaning operatives for the following shifts:

• 2 Cleaning operatives Saturday and Sunday, 16 hours contract.
• 2 cleaning operatives from Monday till Wednesday, 24 hours contract.
• 2 cleaning operatives from Thursday to Friday, 16 hours contract.
• 2 cleaning operatives from Friday to Sunday, 24 hour contract.
• 2 cleaning operatives from Monday to Thursday, 32 hour contract.

£12.00 per hour
