My client, a well-established company, that provide software products to the global (re)insurance industry and they are looking for a DevOps Engineer to take a key role getting their SaaS capability up and running.

It is a 'greenfield site' for someone tocome in and set up the DevOps function.


As the DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and deployment of the company's cloud software solutions to their customers.

The technology stack is Azure and C# (.Net 6).


As the DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for service delivery, reliability, scalability, monitoring, and helping implement and maintain all of this as immutable infrastructure-as-code.

You will also be the SME of all things DevOps and sharing knowledgeof your expertise with the rest of the team as needed.

Also, you will be able to pitch in with regular development work and act as a developer when needed.


Main duties and responsibilities

  • Implement automation, effective monitoring, and infrastructureascode
  • Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments
  • Support and work alongside a crossfunctional engineering team on the latest technologies
  • Iterate on best practices to increase the quality and velocity of deployments
  • Sustain and improve the process of knowledge sharing throughout the engineering team

Required skills

  • Experience maintaining and deploying highly available, faulttolerant systems at scale
  • A drive towards automating repetitive tasks (e.g., scripting via PowerShell, bash, etc)
  • Expertise with Azure IaC (ARM templates\PowerShell)
  • Expertise with implementing CI\CD using Azure DevOps YAML pipelines
  • Experience with
- o AAD, PIM and managed identities
- o Azure Virtual Networks S2S and P2S
- o Git and TFVC
- o Configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef)
