Overview

We are hoping to find a reliable, professional, skilled plumber for a part time role in our business in South Manchester.

This would be on a flexible sub contract basis. This could be an ideal position for someone who has recently gone self employed, and is struggling to fill their diary. Or someone who simply wants 2-5 days a week without the stress of chasing customers for payment.

Pay can be discussed.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for mostly 1st and 2nd fix of domestic properties - for both central heating systems and bathrooms. Applicants must be committed to safety, quality workmanship, and efficient service delivery. We work with fantastic customers, who expect only the best from our services. And in turn, we strive to deliver that. We would need someone to reflect that esos.

Duties

• Installation of copper pipework pipework.
• Turning up on time.
• Would need the use of their own tools and van.
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely during installation.
• Read technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate installation and repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Assist with assembly of plumbing components and related mechanical systems as required.

Skills

• Full plumbing level 2 qualification at a minimum.
• Proficiency in plumbing techniques, including pipe fitting, soldering, and leak detection.
• Experience with soldering and the use of various hand tools and power tools essential for plumbing tasks.
• Would need atleast 5+ years experience.
• Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and reading technical diagrams.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper posture and technique.
• Competence in assembly work related to plumbing components or mechanical systems. This position offers an engaging environment where your skills will be valued and developed further within a professional team dedicated to quality service delivery.

Pay: £17.00-£24.42 per hour
