Description
We are seeking a motivated and astute individual to join our team. Reporting to the Finance and Office Leader.

The role involves assisting the planning team in ensuring the purchasing of materials and products meet specification and delivery requirements.

You will also maintain a tight control on inventory levels.

The role is suitable for someone who has some experience or wants to progress their careet in procurement.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtaining quotes from suppliers.
  • Checking the supplier material specification meets customer requirements.
  • Raise purchase orders.
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding delivery dates.
  • Reconcile Invoices to Purchase orders, check for discrepancies and invoice queries.
  • Raise Purchase Invoices.
  • Work alongside production to ensure operational efficiencies are maintained.
  • Update teams internally on Purchase order deliveries.
  • Prepare reports, KPI's and communicate with management.
Person Specification

  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Work well under tight deadlines.
  • Previous procurement experience would be an advantage.
  • Previous experience with ERP systems ideal.
  • Ability to understand reporting information.
  • Identify cost savings and continual improvements.
Salary £25k depending on experience and qualifications


Pay:
£25,000.00 per year
