Head of Paraplanning, Financial Services industry, Salary £60,000 - £90,000 dependent on your experience, Maternity cover interim role.

This role would ideally suit you if you are a Paraplanning Manager who would also like the opportunity put your own stamp on things and undertake operational duties as well as being someone who enjoys socialising and taking part in fun activities.


I am delighted to be working in partnership with a London based Financial Advising firm who put the interests of their clients at the heart of everything they do.


They are looking for an experienced and motivated Head of Paraplanning / Operations Manager who has a proven experience in the financial services industry.


Duties may include but not limited to:

  • Write and implement review process and templates for review letters and yearly reports
  • Aid the advisers and paraplanners with their paperwork queries
  • Train new advisers and paraplanners on new systems and processes
  • Prepare for client meetings carry forward calculations, prepare valuations and fund information, Voyant cash flow modelling forecasts
  • Entire paperwork process for the firm including research, quotes, factfinds and suitability reports
  • Management of all employed staff
  • Responsibility for the HR duties of the firm
  • Recruitment of new paraplanners and administration staff
  • Dealing with recruiters, contracts etc
  • Design and run the graduate programme training, timetables, exams, brochure etc
  • Organising the overall recruitment of new graduates/advisers through the whole process
  • Quarterly meetings on performance of the company in regards to compliance
  • Implementing improvements where necessary

  • Managing the whole process from start until the adviser is fully qualified
  • Use of XPLAN / IRESS
