Kitchen Assistant - 2 positions

Crown Care Group are an established Operator and Developer of Care Homes for the elderly, with a strong reputation for delivering luxurious surroundings & facilities, in purpose built, high quality, design led care homes; and which are CQC highly rated._
Belvedere House is a Luxurious 64 bed Registered Care Home providing an excellent standard of residential care, including dementia care, as well as shorter term respite care._
There are excellent opportunities in our new Care Home for those who aspire to "really make a difference" to the lives of older people that have chosen to live in spectacular newly developed residential care services._

We are urgently recruiting for two experienced
Kitchen Assistants. You will ideally be qualified with Basic Food Hygiene Certificate to level 2 or 3 but not essential. Experience working within Care Homes, Schools and Hotels/Guest Houses would be desirable but not essential.

The shifts will be split across 2 people both doing 5 hours on Saturday & Sunday only. Shifts times are 8am until 1pm or 1pm until 6pm.

Key Tasks

To assist serving breakfast to the residents.
To prepare refreshment trolleys.
To maintain a high standard of cleanliness within the kitchen, dining and storage areas.
To maintain appropriate workflow in the kitchen by assuring prompt clearing and washing of dishes, crockery, pots and pans.
To ensure all dining and Bistro areas are kept tidy, set up and well stocked with food, beverages, cutlery and crockery.
To promote and display a professional image commensurate with the high standards of Crown Care Group.
Help with special events.

Salary:
£11 per hour

Part-time (approx 10 hours), 5 hour shifts.
