Senior Course Coordinator

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT EXCLUSIVE TO:

  • Be point of contact for students in the delivery of support
  • Serve as the Student Experience Officer, monitoring and reporting on the student's experience
  • Distribute of department communications
  • Interact with external stakeholders
  • Collating and capturing student results
  • Develop and manage student timetables in alignment with programme requirements
  • Coordinate and organise a range of committees and meetings
  • Work in line with agreed budgets and schedules
  • Manage Module and Tutor feedback processes
  • Manage learning resources on Virtual Learning platforms
  • Manage work placements
  • Providing production support on student projects

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:


  • Demonstrable experience of administration within higher education
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to problemsolve, and mediate issues that arise
  • Highly organised, with experience implementing "best practice" models
  • Demonstrable calmness under pressure
  • Able to lead and inspire students to overcome various issues.
  • Ability to negotiate with industry stakeholders and partners
  • Experience working with word processing and VLE software systems
  • Experience in film production with specific reference to providing production support
