About the role

It is an exciting time to join the waste service in North Northamptonshire, as a newly formed council working in partnership to deliver Waste and Recycling services.

Operating out of the Trafalgar House Depot in Wellingborough, the working arrangements consist of a four day, 37 hour week, operating Tuesday-Friday.

What will you be doing?
You will be collecting household waste and recycling, providing an excellent service to local residents.

About you

Working as part of a team, delivering front line services throughout the region, the role is physically demanding working in all weathers.

Flexibility will be required, as occasionally loaders may be required to perform other duties.

We are undertaking consultation with the Trade Unions on terms and conditions and the future NNC pay structure and during this time are appointing new employees on interim spot salaries. You will be advised of the outcome and any impact on your role once this work is complete._
