Trainee Production Assistant

Location - Whitstable, Kent

Salary - £10.42 per hour
We have an exciting opportunity in Whitstable for a Trainee Production Assistant to work for one of our clients. This position is 25 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 9am - 2pm.

Responsibilities

Inspection and acceptance of incoming purchased items
Preparation of kits for manufacture
Control of high value stored items
Control of consumable parts
Issue of spares for manufacture and maintenance activities
Packing of high value products for national and international carriage
Assist with assembly of products
Other duties as deemed reasonable

Skills and Experience

Outstanding attention to detail and error free data input.
Minimum of five GCSEs at A*C grade including Maths and English.
Excellent working knowledge of MS Office including Word and Excel.
Good interpersonal skills, the ability to work as part of a team and to communicate at all levels.
