Level 3 Qualified Teaching Assistant Wanted for Primary School in South Sheffield


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the class teacher in planning, delivering and evaluating a stimulating and engaging curriculum
  • Providing individual and small group support to students with specific needs
  • Helping to create a safe and positive classroom environment
  • Supporting the development of students social, emotional and cognitive skills
  • Assisting with the preparation and organisation of resources
  • Helping to monitor and assess student's progress

Key Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in Teaching Assistant or equivalent
  • Experience of working in a primary school setting
  • Strong understanding of child development and learning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude and a commitment to continuous professional development
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
Start Date: 20th February 2023
