We have the following vacancy to start as soon as possible:

SITE ASSISTANT / CARETAKER

Full time - 40 hours per week plus overtime
To join the Estates team and contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of the College accommodation and grounds. This is a full-time shift work post of 40 hours per week, throughout the year.

The shift pattern would be as follows:

  • Week 1: 6.30am to 3.30pm Mon to Fri
  • Week 2: 1pm to 10pm Mon to Fri
The role also includes covering a rota for weekend cover (approx. 1 in 4 weekends) and cover for key College events e.g. open evening (for which overtime payments will be made). Hours during the College holidays change and will be within the hours of 7.30am to 4.30pm. Actual salary will be £28,149 per annum inclusive of fringe area allowance (overtime is in addition). A complimentary lunch and a uniform appropriate to the culture of a sixth form college, will be provided.
