Who is SIS (Solutions in Service)


SIS encourage and provide social inclusion opportunities through use of local amenities and services for example day centres, support groups and leisure activities with the intention of integrating clients back into the community.


Our teams provide outstanding care and support, working with individuals to understand their needs and help them to achieve their goals and ambitions.

The role of a support worker is very rewarding, but it can be challenging at times, so patience and compassion are key.

Supporting People

  • Provide support to individuals with additional needs through our personcentred approach.
  • With dignity and care to maximise their independence, putting them at the centre of everything you do
  • Provide social inclusion opportunities through use of local amenities such as leisure attractions, walks, skilled activities, and support with gaining employment and recognised qualifications.
  • Support with daily living tasks such as cleaning, shopping, cooking, and encouraging good personal hygiene.
  • Ensure the people we support are always safeguarded, by following accurate up to date care plans

What are we looking for:

Driving is preferrable but not essential


Training


We provide a wide range of
free training bespoke to the service and individuals we support, which we regularly update to reflect current sector wide policy and best practice.

Our training services are designed to offer advice and guidance in a range of areas to services that support people with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health diagnoses.


Service
This will be registered for 19 clients.

There is a communal lounge and conservatory with 2 large kitchens, gardens to front of the house and gardens to rear of the house.

Heaton is close to Manchester and Stockport with regular transport links for trains, buses, and trams.

Heaton Lodge supports clients with complex mental health needs.

Heaton is staffed by 24hours with waking night Staff support clients with individual care needs while promoting independence, supporting clients to cook clean and doing their budgets purchasing food.


Heaton Lodge provide social inclusion by accessing local amenities, collage, or voluntary groups 1-1 time with clients with staff offering emotional support, trips to local areas of interest holidays with clients if they wish.


Requirements:

Ideally a driver but not essential.


Previous care experience is not essential as our fully paid induction and training programme ensures you are supported in your role.
