Commercial Finance Analyst based at Epworth House, Derby

Available Hours:


Permanent - Full Time - 37 hours per week.

About the role
MHA has an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join our team.

This role exclusively focusses on partnering with our stake-holders, driving value within our Care Homes and has limited month end responsibility.

Reporting in to the CommercialFinance Manager, this key business partner role builds strong relationships with senior managers and their teams across the organisation to improve commerciality and financial understanding and to ensure accountability for budgetary control.


The role is based in Derby city centre but the team are working flexibly under a hybrid model both in the office and at home.

Through critical and effective analysis, the Commercial Finance Analyst will influence decision making to support MHA in its strategy to enable people to live later life well.


Who we're looking for:

  • A qualified Accountant with proven Business Partnering and Commercial experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly analyse complex situations and data, identify key issues and solutions driving through to making tough, timely decisions.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Customer focused with the desire to build effective working relationships across the organisation.
  • Proven ability to work in cross functional teams.
  • Be able to proactively challenge, influence and gain alignment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, collaboration and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines whilst delivering to a high standard.
