We are looking for a Facilities Technician


The role includes the management of associated service contracts and resource, ensuring best practice and cost-effective solutions in accordance with corporate safety directives, energy efficiency playbook and facility policies and procedures.


Key Requirements:


  • Manage the Facilities Team
  • Undertake facility improvements and repairs
  • Coordinate external Contractors and ensure adherence to contractor control procedure
  • Monitor and manage facility service contracts
  • Raise purchase orders PO's
  • Plan and implement facility improvements as aligned with Lear's Energy Efficiency Playbook
  • Develop and manage a preventative program and manage projects
  • Submit PAR & CAPEX costs for any facility projects
  • Monitor & manage energy usage
  • Ensure facility compliance to Lear's directives, site procedures and all statutory inspections to comply with relevant legislations
  • Lead quarterly Kaizen / improvement projects
  • Respond to any Quality / facility investigations
  • Provide support to the Industrial Engineering and Maintenance team where applicable.

Key Skills and Qualification:


  • Project & Contractor Management.
  • Skilled in overseeing projects and coordinating with contractors.
  • Holds an advanced Level 3 safety certification (IOSH Managing Safety).
  • Experienced in managing facilities and optimizing resources. Facilities Management Level
  • Good communicator
  • Demonstrates cooperative teamwork.
