We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Energy Manager to join our team.

We are a fast-paced and collaborative organization and are seeking an individual with a can-do attitude and eagerness to learn.

**Key Responsibilities: The key responsibilities of a Junior Energy Manager include, but are not limited to:

  • Support the Senior Energy Manager in facilitating onsite and offsite workshops.
  • Support the Head of Energy Management in the delivery of energy reduction strategies.
  • Provide technical expertise and support direct to clients, helping them identify significant and costeffective energy & carbon reduction opportunities.
  • Contribute to developing client strategies for low/zero carbon solutions on a global basis.
  • Assess existing installations and identify, quantify, and recommend energy reduction measures.
  • Confidently facilitate energy workshops following the EECO2 defined process.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and other engineers to ensure maximum efficiency and customer service from start to finish (facetoface and remote)
  • Undertake extensive data analysis of buildings and energy systems utilising industry recognized techniques such as profile analysis & disaggregation, CUSUM, regression analysis, and baseload normalisation to identify energy conservation measures.
  • Undertake data analysis and provide interpretation and intelligence from the results.
  • Monitor energy dashboards with a view to report the energy consumption patterns and proactively identify energy alarms.
  • Prepare periodic energy analysis reports, outlining energy consumption trends and patterns.
  • Interact with other members of the business and external clients for Data Collection purposes.
  • Provide technical sustainability support to clients in a wide range of areas including sustainability strategies, renewable feasibility studies, building performance, whole life carbon assessments.
  • Deliver high quality, clearly written outputs.

**The Person
The key skills and qualities of a Junior Energy Manager are:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Degree or equivalent in an engineering, physical sciences or analytical disciplines.
  • Specific energy management, energy engineering and building services knowledge and experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of mechanical and electrical energy systems in buildings.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages: Word, PowerPoint and Excel at an advanced level.
  • Accreditation to a relevant industry body (e.g. EMA, EI, CIBSE).
  • IPMVP Certified, preferable.
  • Experience of SQL, macros, Power BI, or other forms of automation is desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills and good attention to detail, with operational delivery capability.
  • Quick learner, able to pick up concepts and methods of working quickly.
  • The ability to work to deadlines and targets using prioritisation as a key skill.
  • A determined problem solver; takes initiative and ownership.
  • Strong relationship building skills, coupled with strong listening and communications skills.
  • Team player, able to work both individually and on team projects.
