We have an exciting opportunity to join our HR advisory team of 4 who deliver HR advice, guidance and support to our 800 colleagues.

The role is engaging, wide ranging and every day will support you to grow your HR expertise.


About you.
You'll have HR support experience and hold the CIPD Level 3 Foundation certificate.


As an excellent communicator you'll enjoying working with all colleagues to build rapport and understand the challenges our diverse teams face in their roles.

You will have excellent to attention detail, able to interpret policy within wide ranging contexts and advise accordingly.


About the role.
You'll provide first line support, guidance and advice to managers on employee relation issues. This will include conduct, capability, workplace complaints and health support. Your attention to detail means you will sensitively support all involved, whilst maintaining excellent case governance.

You will support with job design, grading roles within the Council's job evaluation guidelines.


You will support the Councils workforce data reporting, management and development to contribute to annual reporting and associated workforce changes.


You'll be supported by the HR Advisory team to deliver an effective HR Advisory service, whilst being supported to grow your own professional development.
