Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Practitioner to join our team. As a Preschool Practitioner, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds and futures of young children.

Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement ageappropriate lesson plans and activities
  • Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for children
  • Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging activities
  • Create and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
  • Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians
  • Collaborate with other practitioners to create a cohesive educational experience
  • Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's development
  • Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children in your care
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and observations

Experience:


  • Previous experience working with preschoolaged children is required with a minimum of a level 3 qualification in childcare An up to date safeguarding certificate is also required.
DBS check will be applied for before working with us.


We operate in a church hall, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, offering sessions from 9-12 am and 12-3pm and Wednesday and Friday sessions from 9-12 am, term time only.

Working hours are from morning sessions or a full day from pm. These hours will include setting up and putting away equipment and resources each day.

  • Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
  • Familiarity with ageappropriate teaching methods and techniques
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with young children
  • Ability to create a positive and nurturing classroom environment
  • Flexibility to adapt lesson plans based on individual student needs

£11.44-£11.60 per hour
