Job Title: Personal Assistant Dementia Support Worker

Location: Community Engagement Centre, Ford Street, Walsall, WS2 9BW (Travel around Walsall) Salary: £22094.80 per annum - depending on skills and experience Contract Type: Permanent Working Hours: Full Time Closing Date: 30th April 2024 Interview Date: Week Commencing 2nd May 2024

About the Role

GreenSquareAccord is looking for a knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and proactive individual to support the delivery of a successful service initiated in October 2015. Join the team to contribute to this valuable service by providing practical interventions to individuals diagnosed with dementia for up to 12 weeks. This role focuses on assisting individuals to adjust to a life-limiting condition and prepare for the future without involving personal care.

About You

A good understanding of the needs of individuals with dementia and their carers
Strong organizing and time-management skills
Familiarity with different types of dementia and their impacts
Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Capable of working under pressure while maintaining professionalism
Adaptability and teamwork skills
