DXB Pump and Power Limited are looking for an experienced Production/Purchasing assistant to provide support to our Operations manager

The role is a central link between sales, product development and production in our small business, requiring high levels of communication to ensure best practice and operational effectiveness is achieved within the organisation.

This role will have responsibility for receiving the sales order file, reviewing, and processing the technical information and placing purchase orders.

Working with the Operations manager, communications with key component suppliers such as engine and pump manufacturers and then ensuring the production BOM is completed is also part of this role.

DXB's success is driven by the commitment and work of the entire team of people from sales right through to the production and after sales service teams.

We are seeking someone with the following skills and experience:

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office & MRP software highly desirable.
• Strong interest in production technology, and proven experience of working in a highly regulated industry desirable.
• To have an indepth knowledge of all production procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to positively influence others including customers and suppliers.
• To have meticulous attention to detail and a sense of pride and ownership in your work.
• To work quickly and accurately to set deadlines following relevant instructions and technical information.
• Have a cooperative and friendly personality with the ability to work collaboratively with coworkers.
• To be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines whilst maintaining a positive attitude.
