Specialist Employment Support Officer


Hours: 37 Hours per week


Salary:
£21,572 to £24,365 (FTE) per annum - depending on skills and experience


Location:
Solihull, West Midlands


We are looking for a full time enthusiastic hard working and highly motivated Specialist Employment Support Officer (SESO) to join our team based in Solihull.

The individual must have lived experience or expert knowledge of disability and a real insight into the issues disabled people face in finding and securing employment.


Key responsibility and tasks:


  • This role provides an opportunity to actively influence and support employers in the local community to change their attitudes towards employing disabled people or those with a health condition, and work with them to build a better understanding of disability and being Disability Confident.
  • As users of the disability confident scheme, we guarantee to interview all disabled applicants who meet the minimum criteria for the vacancy. This information is available on request and can be provided in accessible formats._
