Mpower Cambridge provides intensive and goal-oriented support to parents with highly complex needs whose children have been removed into care.

As a Team Leader you will do this by taking a relational approach that centres around the needs of each service user.

You will need to balance management of your own caseload and, the management of the Practitioners in Cambridge, Ipswich and other Mpower services in your remit, as well as working collaboratively with other Team Leaders to set best practice on Ormiston Families' long-term services.

You will work with a high level of independence and self-direction, maintaining strong professional boundaries. You will be confident using assertive outreach to engage service users. As support for service users is non-time-limited, you will ensure your work is purposeful, effective, and appropriate.

Ultimately, your support will enable service users who have experienced complex trauma and loss to make meaningful change, rebuild their lives, and reduce the number of children being removed into care.

You will be joining a service that has been running successfully for ten years and is going through an exciting period of expansion and development.

Cambridge is the newest expansion of the Mpower service and your role will involve setting up and establishing the service in Cambridge.

It is essential that you have at least 5 years' experience in a relevant role working with people with highly complex needs and at least 2 years' experience of supervising or leading a team.

It is also essential that you have your own vehicle and are able to travel within Cambridge and to the services in your remit.
