Key Information
- An established contractor specialising in fire safety and electrical services throughout the UK are actively looking to recruit a FIRAS Supervisors on a longterm temporary basis to start with immediate effect
The role
- As a FIRAS Supervisor, you will have experience dealing with a wide range of people, from construction professionals to customers, so outstanding communication skills are essential
- Working on 6 apartment blocks in the Salford area on tenanted properties all within the same area
- Planning and recording progress in accordance with the companies approved methods
- Managing and coordinating materials and labour as required throughout the build
- Programming and managing subcontractors
- Initiating build inspections and managing to build regulations
- Maintaining site records in accordance with site specific RAMS and H&S Law
- Conducting site inductions
- Maintaining all required paperwork to company standard
- Completing precompletion inspections and working with the inspectors whilst on site
Qualifications and Experience
- Valid SMSTS and First Aid required
- Management experience on residential projects
- Competent with H&S, build regulations and project planning
- Experience managing a job in a supervisor role from inception to completion
- Compliance knowledge
- To ideally understand compliance requirements involving FIRAS accreditation and up to date fire safety legislation.
