Tour operatives accompany our groups of holiday makers on package tours to a wide variety of European and other overseas locations.

They are responsible for ensuring travel arrangements for holiday makers run as smoothly and enjoyably as possible from beginning to end, as well as providing them with practical support throughout the trip.

Typical work activities

Accompanying groups travelling by coach, although on specialist tours travel may be by minibus, car, boat, train or plane
Welcoming groups of holiday makers at their starting point and announcing details of travel arrangements and stopover points
Checking tickets and other relevant documents, seat allocations and any special requirements
Commentating during the journey on places of interest along the route
Booking processes and general admin
Communicating a range of information on itineraries, destinations and culture
Responding to questions and offering help with any problems that arise ranging from simple matters, such as directing a member of the group to the nearest chemist, to more serious issues, such as tracing lost baggage, etc;
Dealing with emergencies, such as helping a holidaymaker who is ill or those needing to contact family members urgently;
Advising about facilities, such as sights, restaurants and shops, at each destination;
Working as a team is a must and liaising with other Tour Managers

Mandatory Requirements

You must have a right to work in the UK
You must have a valid Passport, or valid passport allowing travel to Schengen Countries
You must be able to
work weekends and flexible hours, inc Bank Holidays:
You must be able to travel out of UK for 80 Days of the year:
Ideally be able to speak
Hindi
