At Wynne and Co we operate a modern, digital, accountancy practice with offices in Cross Hands and Carmarthen.Due to continued growth we have an exciting opportunity to join our friendly and supportive team. The role is permanent, though full or part time would be considered. Also, the possibility of a job share. This might also suit someone relocating/returning to West Wales.
Our client list spans a wide variety of industries both locally in West Wales and in England. Knowledge of the construction industry or ecommerce would be advantageous.
It's not necessary to be bilingual, though we do have Welsh and English speakers in the office and encourage the use of the Welsh language in our practice.

Main responsibilities of the role:
- Bookkeeping for small companies and sole traders
- Preparation and filing of their VAT returns
- Accounts and Self Assessment tax returns preparation for senior review
- Administrative support for the accountants
- Have previous experience of working within an accountancy practice
- Be proficient with cloud based bookkeeping software, preferably Xero, but training will be provided
- Be familiar with HMRC's requirements
- Be confident at communicating with clients and the team
- Be able to work independently and to deadlines
- Have a keen eye for detail
- Be able to work under pressure, with limited supervision
A good sense of humour and enjoyment of team work is a must as we support each other to meet regular deadlines by working together.

Salary dependent on experience and working hours so not quoted.
