Web Content Executive - Cardiff - Up to £35,000 with Bonus and excellent benefits

Joining Ogi is a unique opportunity to work within an innovative Welsh business and one of the fastest-growing companies in Wales.

For many years, we've been providing mainstream internet and IT services as Spectrum Internet and Net Support UK.

We rebranded to Ogi to represent our dedication to Welsh communities and received a significant multi-million-pound investment to deliver a large-scale and ambitious rollout of full-fibre internet across South Wales.

Our team is looking for someone with a strong all-around background in communications/marketing, with a focus on web development/management _(using WordPress),_ SEO, and content production, to support our marcomms activities throughout Wales.

About you
You should have excellent communication skills and solid experience in a similar role or agency environment.

We're not concerned about job titles in previous roles; we're looking for transferable skills and are willing to consider someone with the right attitude and aptitude for this role.

You should have excellent copywriting skills, as well as a strong desire to create audience-led content that has an impact and drives results.

In terms of background/qualities, we'd prefer someone with experience across
-
Website development and management - We're looking for someone with WordPress experience - it doesn't have to be advanced and hands-on experience with a similar CMS may be transferable.

Content strategy and planning - Experience creating compelling content strategy plans for a variety of audiences, channels, and media.

Content production and publishing - Experience of publishing content across a range of channels with the ability to produce content in a variety of formats

Integrated marcomms delivery

Experience developing and delivering integrated, customercentric marcomms campaigns and content, as well as briefing agencies/freelancers to deliver highquality content on tight deadlines.

Brand management

Experience delivering onbrand marcomms activity and content with high creative quality and cutthrough.

Channel management

Experience with paid, earned, shared, and owned (PESO) platforms, as well as a background in highimpact content distribution.

You should also be passionate about Wales and it would be great if you have prior experience developing and managing stakeholder relationships in a Welsh context.

The ability to speak, read, and write Welsh would be a huge plus, especially if you are familiar with the South Wales area _(though this is not required for applicants).

What you'll be doing

You'll play an important role in shaping Ogi's brand impact and future; working hands-on with a growing company, developing and delivering vision and ensuring that the approach is future-proof, digitally-led, and delivers a seamless customer journey and experience.

If you have been working in a similar role previously, you'll know the variety involved, but to give you a general idea responsibilities will include:_
Playing a handson role with our website overseeing our WordPress site, updating Pages/Content as well as collaborating closely with our web development agency.
Managing a range of social channels and strategy driving engagement and conversion as well as collaborating with wider teams to ensure exceptional creative quality, customer engagement, and retention.
Increasing SEO performance and conversion rates across all stages of the customer's online experience.
Creating longterm strategies and plans for the website's future development in terms of functionality, UX, and content.
Overseeing the creation of hero content, including collaboration with thirdparty creatives and agencies as needed.
Ensuring that all content is highquality, marketappropriate, accessible, and bilingual/multilingual where necessary and that it engages with and reflects the diversity of the communities we serve.
Liaising and coordinating the work of external agencies, copywriters, photographers, designers, creatives to deliver to a brief, on time and on budget.

You'll be involved in the creation and curation of rich media content to promote the company's work, including visits to communities around South Wales, creating materials for a variety of platforms, while guaranteeing great creative quality and high levels of consumer engagement and conversion.

This includes assisting with face-to-face, customer and stakeholder engagement events and activities, which may occur on evenings and weekends on occasion.
