    Specialist Paediatric Respiratory Physiotherapy

    This exciting opportunity is in the Paediatric Respiratory Physiotherapy Team as part of University Hospitals Birmingham.

    Main Duties

    • To deliver highly specialist paediatric respiratory physiotherapy and act as a source of expertise to fellow clinicians, managers, healthcare professionals and other services internal and external to the trust.
    • To work effectively in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, other health professionals to promote the development, planning and delivery of respiratory intervention programmes and training in this specialist field of practice.
    • To undertake the role of inpatient paediatric respiratory lead that includes, planning, coordinating, delivering, and evaluating the inpatient paediatric therapy service.

    Requirements

    We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and innovative physiotherapist with expertise in Paediatric Respiratory Physiotherapy.

    • Good standard of general education including English language and mathematics, A levels or equivalent
    • Degree in Physiotherapy
    • Registered with HCPC as a Physiotherapist.
    • Evidence of relevant postgraduate training in specialist area
