Due to continued growth, Laser 24 are looking for a Process Operator to join their friendly team.

Purpose of the role:

Working as part of a manufacturing team carrying out manual and non-manual production duties.

Role and Responsibilities

Processing laser cut parts
Carrying out internal quality checks
Packing orders ready for despatch
General production duties
Adhere to the health & safety requirements, site safety, technical and hygiene procedures
Weekend work may be required due to customer demand.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Good general education including Maths and English.

Experience of working in an engineering environment is preferred but not essential

Attention to detail

Essential and Preferred skills

Basic computer skills
Good oral and written communication skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
Previous manufacturing experience
Able to lift, use tools, shovel, sweep, load & unload, and carry materials up to 25kg

Working hours:

6:00am-16:00pm or 16:00pm-02:00am Monday-Friday.

Overtime on Saturday (once a month) and when necessary. Overtime pay rate is 1.5 times.
