Swansea Council's Parks Department (Tree Services Unit) is responsible for the planting and maintenance of trees and woodlands within the City & County of Swansea.

Tree Services carry out a full range of arboricultural operations to ensure that the council's tree stock is safe and healthy for the residents and visitors to Swansea.

We work throughout the county in Parks, schools, cemeteries, council houses, woodlands and on the highway. We are currently seeking to recruit 1 Arborist /Surveyor to join our Tree Services team.

This is a full time post within the team of arborists. The role will be predominantly carrying out tree surgery across all council owned land. The role will also require arboricultural experience and knowledge to carry out tree surveys and inspections when required. The surveys are carried out using Ezytreev software on field based tablets.

Experience with Ezytreev is not required, training will be available but understanding and knowledge of basic tree health and fault recognition is essential.
