You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide a high standard of patient care.

Some of the responsibilities within the role of Clinical Support Worker are:

  • Communicating with patients
  • Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse/Midwife
  • Washing / dressing patients
  • Taking patients physiological observations
  • Making beds and cleaning bed areas
  • Serving meals and assisting feeding patients
  • Talking / listening to patients

This is a training post, while applicants must undertake 16 months apprenticeship.

Applicants will be invited to part take in an assessment of Maths and English in relation to the apprenticeship on the assessment day
We have vacancies that cut across all our divisions, which include planned and unplanned.

All Clinical Support Workers are based on Hospital Wards / Departments and will be
working Days, Nights, Weekends and Bank Holidays.

Please note that this role will require you to work shifts as the hospital covers a 24/7 shift pattern.

Up to £22,383.00 per year

  • Stevenage: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
